Artista Academy airs Monday to Saturday at 9 p.m. The competition’s 16 finalists who now have full scholarships to the Asian Academy for Television and the Arts (AATA)will undergo training under the tutelage of some of the industry’s best and creative minds, like Joel Lamangan, Louie Ocampo and Georcelle Dapat of G Force. Other TV professionals and distinguished celebrities will also be on hand to assess the finalists’ performances as the competition progresses.
What’s at stake for the two best contestants (who will be hailed Artista Academy’s Best Actor and Best Actress) is the biggest prize ever in local TV history—a total of P20 million.
